This policy explains what RM Selection collects when you visit our site or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language.
Information we collect
When you place an order or create an account, we collect the details you give us:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Shipping and billing addresses
- What you ordered, and your order history
- Anything you write to us through our support form or by email
We also collect limited technical information automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the site that referred you. This comes from cookies and similar technologies.
Payment information
We never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered directly into our payment processor's secure fields and are held by them, not by us. We keep only the card brand and last four digits so you can recognise a saved card, together with a token that lets us charge it again at your request.
How we use your information
- To take payment for, pack and deliver your order
- To send order confirmations, dispatch notices and delivery updates
- To answer your questions and handle returns or exchanges
- To calculate the sales tax we are required to collect
- To detect and prevent fraud
- To send marketing email, where you have asked us to
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the shop, and only as far as they need it:
- Our payment processor, to take payment and calculate sales tax
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your order
- Our email provider, to send order and marketing email
- Analytics providers, to measure site usage
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Marketing email
We send marketing email only to people who asked for it. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. It does not stop transactional email about an order you have placed.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — keeping you signed in and remembering your bag — and optional cookies for analytics. You can block cookies in your browser, but the shopping bag and checkout will not work properly without the necessary ones.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Ask for a copy of it
- Ask us to correct it
- Ask us to delete it
- Opt out of marketing at any time
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you these rights, and the right to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under that Act.

How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete it. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, restricted staff access, and a payment processor that handles card data so that we never hold it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
Children
This shop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
