These terms apply when you buy from RM Selection. By placing an order you accept them, so please read them.
Our products
We sell handcrafted Indian ethnic wear. Two things follow from that, and they matter:
- Colour varies. Screens render colour differently, and natural dyes vary between batches. The piece you receive may not match your screen exactly.
- Handwork varies. Embroidery, zari work and mirror work are done by hand. Small irregularities are inherent to the craft and are not defects.
We describe every piece as accurately as we can, including fabric, work and measurements.
Sizing
Sizes follow the measurements shown on each product page. Ethnic wear is not sized consistently across the industry, so please measure rather than assume your usual size. Unstitched and free-size items are described as such.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order — and will refund you in full if we do — where an item is out of stock, where a price or description was wrong, or where we suspect fraud.
Prices and tax
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, and is charged where we are required to collect it. Prices may change, but never after you have placed an order.
Payment
Payment is taken when you place your order. We accept the methods shown at checkout. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor; we never receive your full card number.
Delivery
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers to the address you gave us. Please check that address carefully — we cannot recover a parcel sent to an address you entered incorrectly.
Returns and exchanges
Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page. In short: unworn, unwashed items with tags attached may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Custom, altered, and clearly marked final-sale items cannot be returned.
Care
Follow the care instructions supplied with each piece. Most of what we sell is dry clean only. Damage caused by incorrect care is not a defect and is not covered.
Your account
If you create an account, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account that is used fraudulently or abusively.
Our content
The photography, text, designs and logos on this site belong to RM Selection or our suppliers. Please do not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which we are established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
